World book day

Amazing effort by everybody in Attenborough class!

We love reading!

In Attenborough class we love to read. Here are some of our favourite books.

Fractions

We've been busy discovering all about fractions this half term. We built 'fraction walls' to understand what fractions are and how equivalent fractions can be found.

Stone Age village

We collected sticks, stones and leaves from the playground to use in the building of our Stone Age homes. We used clay joining techniques to join clay bricks together to make homes like the ones found at Skara Brae in the Orkney Islands.

Stone Age day

The Stone Age  is here again! Year 3 have had an amazing day dressed up for our new topic. We have learnt about the daily life of a Stone Age family, the meaning behind cave paintings and have created some cave paintings of our own.

Journey to the centre of the Christmas pudding

We loved learning about the meaning of Christmas with Stuart! We got to dress as the characters from the Christmas story and acted it out.
